About me?

I've lived all across the United States, and have been a: butcher, bar bouncer, bartender, roofer, factory worker, taxi driver, laborer, longshoreman, noveliist, poet, short story writer, movie and restaurant reviewer, publisher, newspaper columnist, television personality, champion weightlifter, wrestler, father of four, and talk show host on AM1220WKRS and AM1050WLIP; to name but a few of my many lives.

I'm the father of four beautiful children, who are in the process of creating productive lives for themselves, and have been married twice.

I am extremely opinionated, prone to insulting people and speaking my mind, and I believe each of us is responsible for his own actions. I grew up in a solid, Midwest middle-class home, the son of working-class parents who imbued a sense of American pull-yourself-up-by-your-own-bootstraps philosophy in each of their six chlidren. They stressed hard work, education and honesty. I have no tolerance for stupid people, and believe the United States today unfortunately encourages and rewards stupidity and lack of ambition, which is why our standing in the world has slipped so precipitously.

Oh, and I'm a very funny guy, if you catch me in the right mood.
